Educational analysts increasingly recognize flaws in modern pedagogic theory and argue that time-tested methods of instruction which convey basic content remain most successful for learners of all types. Various educational fads have not produced the same results as the long-established tools of repetition, memory, and direct instruction.

Immanuel Lutheran School offers a curriculum and teaching style no longer utilized by most schools in this area. Our students learn phonics, grammar, language, math, music, art, and, most importantly, the life-changing Word of God. They see what is good, true and beautiful in an environment free of the distractions created by excessive technology and other novel approaches to education.

We confess that God’s Word is the highest authority in the world and the ultimate source of knowledge for all generations. It has the power to transform the lives and minds of children (Romans 12:2). We oppose all attempts to redefine the human person after the philosophy of the perverse LGBTQ movement and other radical assaults upon reality manifest in our current culture. Dangerous societal trends often operate within the educational system – most evidently in the public school system, but we are also alert to the fact that they frequently creep into Christian school settings.
